Join us in making a difference in our community today!
At Bright Angel, we provide support, resources, and programs to children who have experienced traumatic events, with a primary focus on pediatric burn survivors and children whose families have been affected by burn injuries.
In 2023, our family’s world changed when Vlad faced a life-threatening illness that required extensive burn care and rehabilitation. Witnessing the pain and challenges of recovery opened our eyes to the immense physical and emotional toll on burn survivors and their families.
Our son Nico, deeply affected by the experience, worked with the hospital’s psychologist to restart a pediatric burn support group, creating a safe space for children coping with trauma.
Inspired by this journey of resilience, hope, and compassion, the Bright Angel Foundation was founded in 2025 to support children and families impacted by burns and other traumatic events.
